Haskap Mozzarella Focaccia

Introducing the Haskap Mozzarella Focaccia, a delicious and savory treat that will leave your taste buds tingling! This recipe is a unique twist on the classic focaccia bread, with the addition of sweet and tangy haskaps and creamy mozzarella cheese.

Kitchen Equipment: Kitchen mixer & deep 9x9” pan

 

Ingredients

1 1⁄2 cup water

3 cups flour

1 1⁄2 tsp yeast

3⁄4 cup sugar

1⁄2 tsp salt

1⁄2 cup soft butter

Topping:

1 cup mozzarella

1⁄2 cup haskaps

2 tbsp rosmary

Directions

1. Mix the yeast with lukewarm water.

2. Mix in the flour, sugar, salt and butter

3. Let the dough rise for at least 30 minutes under a cloth.

4. Preheat oven to 400°F

5. Butter or oil the pan.

6. Add dough evenly into the pan.

7. Cut the mozzarella into small pieces.

8. Press the mozzarella and haskaps into the dough.

9. Sprinkle the rosemary on top and palace into the oven for about 45 minutes or until the dough is not sticky from inside.

( you can test it by placing a fork gently in the middle)

10. Let the focaccia cool down for 10 minutes before cutting.
