Minty Berry Haskap Limonade
A Refreshing Twist on Strawberry Lemonade
Move over strawberries and lemons, here come haskap and limes.
Berry spiked lemonade has been a go-to thirst quencher for as long as there has been food coloring around. I mean, did you really think that bright strawberry color came from the berries alone? Think again.
If you want a truly vibrant showstopper lemonade at your next barbecue or tailgate party, be sure to try this recipe. Haskaps naturally have a LOT of color to them and just as much flavor to boot.
You can make this drink whichever way suits you best, but we really love using oragnic KIJU lemonade, a squeeze of lime, and an ounce or so of our frozen haskap berry juice when we are in a pinch.
If we have a bit more time on hand, then bring on the citrus juicer and a dash of sugar in some water to make a lovely limonade which we then add the frozen haskap juice or haskap berry simple syrup to.
