Cranberry Sauce Goes Haskap Sauce

Ingredients

3 cups Haskaps 

1 cups sugar 

1 tbsp cornstarch or tapioca starch 

½ cup water 

zest of one orange 

1 tsp nutmeg 

1 tsp cinnamon


Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a pot, mix well, and bring to a boil.

  2. In a separate bowl, mix starch thoroughly with ½ cup of cold water.

  3. Pour the starch mixture into the sauce, stirring well.

  4. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 30 minutes..
